Comprehensive Skincare Kit That’s Effective and Non-Intimidating
I ordered this kit for my fiancé, who is currently exploring skincare as a means of ensuring that he can maintain the health and appearance of his skin as he ages (he’s currently 54). His daily routine includes facial wash, moisturizer, and SPF. So he was interested in adding additional products to his routine in order to increase and improve his results. Overall, he was very pleased with the performance of each product in the kit, although he would’ve preferred to have a fragrance-free version of the day and night creams.His review of the items included in the kit are as follows:Technobrush: Cleansed his face more efficiently than his hands alone. The rubber bristles were gentle on his skin. Unsure of the science behind the red photomotion light, as he’s used to seeing it applied to skin for a longer period of time than it was used during the facial cleansing process – but the warming sensation provided by the light felt relaxing. Note regarding the brush: It needed approximately 2.5 hours for its initial charge.Wakeup Gel: Didn’t strip his face like some cleansers have done. Didn’t understand why the cleanser had microbeads (we both assumed that it was the jojoba esters) to help exfoliate when the gel was meant to be used with a cleansing brush – wondered why there was redundant exfoliation. Day Cream: Fast absorbing, skin felt moisturized without being greasy/sticky. May need to reapply during the day in drier/colder months, or layer a thicker cream on top of it. Would’ve preferred the cream to be fragrance-free, as the scent took a while to evaporate and wasn’t necessary. Night Serum: Had a thicker and slightly oilier consistency than the day cream, but still absorbed easily. Felt as if it provided more moisture than the day cream, and the moisture lasted overnight. Again, commented that the fragrance was a bit too strong and didn’t provide a benefit. Eye Cream: Was easy to pat onto the eye area without needing to use a lot of force, or dragging the skin. Provided long-lasting moisture and didn’t irritate eyes. Noticeable fragrance, but not as pronounced as the other products. Note: While an eye cream was included in the kit, there were no ingredients listed in the informational booklet for the cream – so I had to go to their website in order to locate the details. Additionally regarding the eye cream: there was no information included in the booklet, or on the bottle of eye cream itself, regarding the order in which it should be applied to the skin in tandem with the day cream and night serum. Given that I am a skincare aficionado, I was able to make suggestions to my fiancé regarding the proper application process, I can see how some users of this kit may need more initial guidance in how to successfully use the products.

Nice gift set and I really liked using the technobrush!
Both my husband and I tested the dogface skincare kit. I really liked the technobrush. I currently use a silicone massaging/vibrating facial cleansing brush. The techno brush rotates and automatically turns off after two minutes.The techno brush has 16 LED lights. I would like to think that this is red light therapy at an effective wavelength, but I could not find anything on the website stating so. I personally do not like the orange used on the product or packaging. The techno brush does not blend in a modern grey and white relaxing bathroom. My husband didnât care, but when I mentioned it he did agree it was a bright orange. It looks like a target. I will either store the techno brush in a drawer or put the orange silicone attachment behind it somehow or hid it some how. There was no other brush head options online. A grey brush head would be a nice option.Both my husband and I enjoyed the 5 in 1 treatment gel. We both have normal to oily skin and it worked well to cleanse the face. The day boom in nice and hydrating. I only needed two pumps not the three.The energizing eye cream felt nice under my eyes. Both the day boom and eye cream are more dense and hydrating that my regular face cream and eye cream cream. I would guess the set to be best for normal to dry skin.I could not test the night boost on my face or neck as I use a tretinoin cream. There is retinol in the dog face night boost. I could not find the percentage anywhere online. I did test the night boost on my leg. The night boost did absorb nicely into my skin and left no sticky or tacky feeling.These products could be used by a man or woman. My husband will continue to use this kit. I gave the kit 5 stars as I think most men would like this kit. The skin care products are good and the techno brush is something most men will not have, but would probably like!

Perfect for those wanting simple, no fuss skin care
So my husband’s definition of “skin care” has been the same ever since he was a kid—washing his face with the same soap and wash cloth as the rest of his body. Suddenly he hits 45 and decides he looks old and tired and wants to do something about it. This kit is aperfect simple and hassle free solutin. The rotating brush is completely sealed so it can be used in the shower and charges with a wireless dock. The lotions seems to be formulated for average skin and have a subtle pleasant smell. They seem to have paid attention to the common male aversion to the feel of lotions and creams and this first moisturizer that my husband has not completely rejected based on the the feel on the skins. This is perfect for clueless men (and women!) that just want something straightforward and easy but above drug store quality.

Didn’t like it.
I tried both day and evening formulas for a couple of months and didn’t really like it. I have VERY oily skin, and was hoping this would help…it didn’t, in fact the daytime booster serum made me so shiny, I had to wash rinse my face after only a couple of hours.The night formulas did help my skin to feel refreshed early in the mornings, but even thay was short lived. I know thatevery product isn’t for every body…I had such high hopes for this one considering what I spent for the bundle, but I ended up throwing everything away.
