It’s Vita Mix ð
This is my second Vita mix and what can I say. I only had to get a new one because after 15 years my first one DISAPPEARED in a move! Best kitchen tool you will ever invest in. Yes, it is very, very well made. Makes great hot soup! My two have never disappointed me. It even cleans itself.

I want to marry my vitamix
I use this every day! Finally a blender that can truly blend ANYTHING. Today, I made my own peanut butter and it has the perfect, creamy consistency. Easy to clean and operate. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to use it for multipurpose use!

Blender stops sensing jar
I purchased three Ascent X2 blenders and all of them stopped sensing when the jar is placed on the unit within 1-3 weeks. I returned the first two because I only had each of them for 1 week. This time I called Vitamix and they said try a new jar, which I did and now the unit detects the new jar. Why the same issue happened to three separate units is a mystery because I am careful with the jars not to get them wet on the spindle mechanism.

Powerful blender, but Very Loud!
Okay, so! I have a lot to say about this blender, so buckle up!Looks/Appearance: Straight out of the box, my first thought was that this blender is gorgeous and looks very sturdy. I love the thick base it has, and it comes with little suction cups on the bottom so it doesn’t move around while you’re blending. The blender itself is a thick plastic that holds up very well to heat. On the blender pitcher, there are measurement lines, which is eternally helpful for someone like myself, who seems to constantly misplace my measuring cups. Overall, I really love the look of the blender. It just feels fancy, know what I mean?Blending performance: Oh, boy can this thing blend! This thing is CRAZY GOOD at blending whole food into smithereens. With my other blender (of who’s manufacturer shall not be named), it would take a while of blending just to get frozen blueberries down to a very smooth consistency. This blender does so in seconds. I also really love that it has different settings, for smoothies, hot food, etc. alongside the option to just let it blend for a minute or more. I also really love that the pitcher just sits right down on the base, so there’s no fighting with it to click in or unscrew.I mostly make smoothies in this blender, but I also made a squash soup with bone broth that came out incredible. It felt a bit weird to pour hot ingredients in the blender (all of my brain alarms were going off) but I trusted the process, and the blender held up very well, and most importantlyâemulsified my soup down to something smooth and creamy and DELICIOUS!Cleanup: Cleanup is very straightforward. The base wipes down easily and the blender pitcher doesn’t get stuck with food like other blenders I have owned. It’s actually very easy to clean, especially with the more flattened structure of the blades. I don’t have to worry so much about accidentally cutting myself while I’m washing it. The one thing I will say, is that it’s difficult to clean underneath the blades, but I just take my sponge and really push it under to clean beneath them. Then I fill the pitcher with soapy water and shake it around a bit. That works for me to get under the blades clean. Now for things I’m not thrilled about:The cord: the cord feels just a tiny bit too short for me. In my kitchen, I have only one plug socket on the countertop wall, and it’s only got the double-prongs, not the three-prongs this blender’s plug has. As such I have to position it on the corner of my countertop and use the three-pronged socket that’s on the adjacent wall and the cord just BARELY reaches it. That being said, my situation is a specific one, so I’m sure the cord won’t be a source of frustration to a lot of people. The noise: Okay. This is a BIG one. While the machine does NOT shake the counter, it is INCREDIBLY loud. I mean, loud enough that my cats go scrambling away when I turn it on. It’s a lot louder than I expected, but this isn’t something deal-breaking for me. For the amount of blending power it has, I can deal with some noise. Perhaps Vitamix should consider ways to reduce noise in future versions? And that’s about it! I am overall highly pleased with this blender and make lots of use of it. I love using it as an alternative to a food processor as well, and plan to make some homemade minced garlic in it next. Thanks for the superior product, Vitamix! Y’all rock!

Expensive blender but is paying for itself as it makes the best smoothies and can handle what ever i put in it from rock hard frozen fruit, ice to apples and oranges cut up etc, I use it daily sometimes twice a day. I love I can put warm water in it and a drop of dish soap and run the clean cycle and just rinse it out and she is clean again way less BS and clean up. Then add in that ten year warranty and its gold. Zero plastic parts in the gears its all steel so I expect this to last a very long time. I used five other blenders the last ten years all die within two years if not sooner due to plastic gears and all are in the trash. So I wish I had found the Vitamix sooner as it would have saved me money had I bought it ten years ago. The old blenders ran in the $200. plus range times it by five and I wasted over a$1000. the last ten years . Had I just bought the Vitamix it would have paid for its self already and then some. This machine is worth every cent you will not be disappointed just register the warranty and your safe for ten years! .
