Relieved itchy scalp
I added this product to my hair care routine & it has helped with an irritable/itchy scalp. Would recommend it if you are experiencing anything like that. It’s kinda expensive but I don’t use too much each time & it will probably last a while

I have used Davine’s products for at least 5 years now (I started with their sea salt spray which is wonderful for curl definition but very hard to find these day) so when I saw this elevating scalp recovery treatment I know that I needed to try it.I have so many hair concerns I don’t even know where to start. My hair is thin, it gets brittle, flat, it’s very frizzy during colder months of the year and on and on. All that being said, it is very hard to find a product that adresses those issues while keeping my strands looking hydrated and refreshed all year round. I had been looking for something to address all of those issues and it seems how stumbled upon something promising!I immediately liked the easy application bottle of this spray with the extended nozzle. For application, basically I just hold different areas of my hair up in the air and spray this directly on my scalp. It feels good As far as working? I would say that it does.I applying it directly to the roots I am giving my hair fighting chance of having plenty of volume while not overdoing it with multiple product. This is what I needed to have healthy looking hair year round.Will continue to use and update this review if there are any negative or positive side effects that I have not already mentioned that I may see later.

decent product
i’ve heard a lot of good things about this brand, but i had not tried anything from them until now. honestly, i’m not even sure that i’ve heard of them until this product. i was experiencing some sort of red, rough areas on my scalp that would come & go but when it came back it would be worse each time. i thought that this sounded like just what i needed. it did do a nice job on the majority of my scalp, just not those problem areas. thankfully i’m past that issue now, but it was a bit of a bummer that this did not help in that situation. this product is easy to apply, it’s not drying, and even with my sensitive skin- i did not have any sort of reaction.

Itchy weave no more.
Do your box braids make your scalp itch? Are you slapping yourself in the head because your sew in is itchy and you can’t reach underneath your wefts? Then get this. Yes, I know it’s $40 for a tiny little bottle, but you don’t need a lot. I also understand that you can get a $4.95 bottle of “braid spray” or “braid oil” from the weave store, but you’ll still be patting your head or scratching like you’ve got headlice. This stuff is FANTASTIC for itchy braids/weave and it’ll last you six months and will work a million times better than that oil you desperately put on your scalp, trying to relieve the itch.This is the best. thing. ever. for itchy scalp, and it works almost instantly. I wish this stuff had existed 25 years ago when I first started braiding my hair, but better late than never.

Felt drying more than anything
I expected this to apply more like a leave in conditioner but it honestly felt a lot like a vinegar rinse. I get a lot of allergies when it comes to hair products and especially after dying my hair it’s usually left feeling irritated and dry. I sectioned my hair out in about six parts and sprayed about six inches away from my scalp and massaged in with my fingers on damp hair.It didn’t really have any sensation but I did notice when my hair dried it felt a bit sticky. This isn’t something I could see myself going back to anytime soon.

This instantly calms skin. It’s really very nice!I like how you can just target problem areas and I like how it does not disrupt the look of my hair. And, the fragrance is entirely mild.This is great for those winter months when exercising outside, shoveling snow, and just existing can lead to a tight or itchy scalp! Another amazing product from Davines
My hair stylist actually introduced me to this brand a few years ago and I’ve always loved the quality of their hair products! From time to time, my scalp will get red and painful due to dryness. This provides an instant relief -no kidding! I’m a huge fan of this. It smells refreshing and soothes my scalp without making it oily looking. A little goes a long way, you don’t need a lot. It’s a great way to promote hair growth by nurturing the scalp. Highly recommend this.
