Simplistic and lasts for a long time!
I bought this trimmer because I had the same one for like 6+ years, and that one lasted until the battery door broke and the guard combs broke off. But it lasted me for 6+ years, so I definitely got my moneys worth out of it. So I was surprised to see they still had them on the market. It’s simplistic and battery powered. I did not want one with a rechargeable battery because they don’t seem to last as long and have all kinds of issues. I’m sure this one will last me for a long time too.

Good Trimmer
This is a good trimmer for the money I paid for it. I took one star off because the attachments are hard to attach and remove.

Best trimmer for the money. GMT100R
Perfect basic trimmer. So in the first picture you’ll see three trimmers. The one to the left is the one that I recently had to replace. I’d say it was probably around seven years old. So I went out and bought another cheap trimmer I figured Wahl must make good stuff right? The one in the middle is the Wahl trimmer that I got to replace my original Conair. OMFG what a terrible POS! The sliding adapter that comes with it is large bulky and very difficult to adjust. But the worst thing is that it sounds like a chainsaw. It should be labeled Stihl. I say all that because I hadn’t realized over the years how nice this Conair is. The adjuster is easy to move normally I just slide it all the way down or take it off completely, but being able to easily put the adjuster on and off is a real treat after having to use the Wahl. And it’s pretty quiet, another feature I hadn’t realized. You can use this thing like you would expect. If you start the Wahl up in the morning you’re going to wake people up. I’m not kidding, if I didn’t know better I would think it was a two-stroke.

Not a beard trimmer.
Sadly, this little, lightweight and cheap product is not a beard trimmer! Itâs more of a sculpting tool than a trimmer. Primary reasons for the negative review:Its run on batteries and appears to have âfluctuationsâ in power. The head is very narrow, my sideburns were wider than the trimmer headThe 5 âtrimâ settings do very little as the comb is not well designed to lift the hair and position for cutting. I only managed to get a cut when the setting was positioned at number 2, so I now have a very short beardThe balance / consistency of the beard trim is denuded because the head makes directional beard smoothing and blending impossible. At first I thought I was going to end up with a few donors in my beard, but after changing the setting to number 1 it was irrelevant which angle you held the head as it couldnât cause any further damage! So I can give some positives too:Very lightweightVery easy to handle because of its size and weightNeatly trimmed edge to my beard and moustache

Tricky head removal, light duty
I bought to keep in my vehicle to either trim back my upper lip mustache or ears or nose hair – it does the job on the thinner mustache/nose/ear hairs – I have a heavy beard and use a regular 110V razor for trimming/thinning – this portable is prolly not up to trimming/thinning a heavy beard -Biggest problem I had was how to swap the beard and nose/ear trimmer – the secret is to bend the attached head away from the on/off button side – I attached some photos – there are two little metal clips that hold either head on and with a little force they will bend and release the head – best to use one hand and push with thumb or two hands – one to hold the base using the thumb on the other hand to ‘bend’ the head down – the head doesn’t actually bend, it is rigid, but it sort of rotates down -All in all, not a bad little trimmer for $10 –

perfect battery powered trimmer
I have a big beard, pushing a foot long. I needed something to trim up and even out. I removed the guard and I don’t use the little trimmer attachment. I didn’t want a cord or rechargeable as I have no outlets in my bathroom (very old house) and I didn’t want to set up a charging station in another room for it. Also, I don’t like rechargeable devices as they can leave you stuck with half the job done waiting for the recharge and the batteries decline over time. I do use rechargeable batteries and this runs fine on them. It’s light and easy to operate. It does feel a little cheap, I don’t know that it survives a drop. The battery door seems to come off easily and unclicks in my hand while operating sometimes. Seems to be a great size for travel too.

Great for triming beards, neckline and around ears
I have cut my husbands hair for 21 years. We live aboard a 51 ft sailboat so spend alot of time sailing to islands that dont have hair salons. This works great.

De buena calidad, no le dura nada las baterias recargables y se calienta mucho, pero es muy comodo de usar y hace muy rapido su trabajo

shave is not especially close, but 4 stars for being one of few options from reputable brands without a hardwired LiPo cell

El material se siente de muy buena calidad, pero cuesta mucho trabajo hacer que corte

Blades are very dull. The trimmer pulls rather than cuts.
