I was completely surprised by this massager! It was purchased for a Christmas present, so I decided to try it out before I wrapped it. The massager was so great I ended up buying myself one. Rolled out my knots in my shoulders and the heat is a bonus!

My personal best neck back massager from 2020-2024
I am a superfan of Medcursor neck back massagers and personally purchased them via Amazon US. I love its capability to really massage, relax, knead tense muscles and knots off around the neck. I should say Medcursor designs its neck back massagers especially with model and style MP200 with special attention, utilizing the latest, newest and effective massaging nodes mechanism to enable the whole piece of kit to become a specialist and expert in neck massaging. By this, I mean the massaging nodes can go that deep into every muscle knot that soared and tensed up. Leaping from 2020 the eight nodes for both sides of massaging central mechanism to currently 2024-25 the adoption of 16 massaging nodes unevenly sized spread throughout two sides simulating hands of a professional masseur, which effort and attention in design really pay off. I was told by the manufacturer that the latest version of MP200 was optimized for being more lightweight, easy to carry and hold, and better massaging quality due to new designs. Bravo!

Nice but different size than previous models
New Update Jan 2015:I recently received my new Medcursor Shiatzu massage device and as the ones I have purchased in the past it is a quality unit and in some ways better in that the electric motor is a lot quieter than the last one I got and that is appreciated and it runs very smoothly again which is really appreciated and all to the good, however, I immediately noticed it was lighter and for good reason as it was smaller which wasn’t great. I liked the older longer arm size as a 6′ male these arm straps make me feel like my arms are really cramped and I cannot as easily get the massage unit in positions around my shoulders and mid back as I was with the older units. I was considering even sending it back for that reasons but I didn’t want to hassle with that and will make due. Anyway, if you are a bigger than the female model in their ad then you might want to look at this. Other than that the unit works very well so far and basically does the job. I don’t know why Medcursor would size down this unit as that is disappointing.Update: I feel this is worth putting under the heading for Important UPDATE. While I have not changed my opinion of the unit itself as I really like the unit I want to write this about the Manufacturer Medcursor. I think companies like this should be recognized when service is a major part of their business model.I bought my unit on Dec 31, 2017 and used it regularly until early May 2019. At that time I was having problems with turning the unit on and off and it was all but unusable. I noticed from the message I got from the company when I bought the unit there was a 18 mo. warranty on the unit which was May 30, 2019 only 3 weeks out. I contacted the company with the problem and was immediately responded to my Mary G who was very helpful and courteous and thought maybe it was the power unit and not the massage unit and to try the 12 volt car adapter. I tried the car adapter that day in my car and yes it worked so I informed her of that and they had a new power adapter out to me in two days which was fantastic service. Unfortunately, that didn’t really solve the problem as it still only went on or off by continually pressing the on/off switch until it didn’t work at all. My mistake in the car adapter test was I only tried the unit once with the 12 volt adapter and I guess I should have given it a better test. At any rate, I contacted Mary G. again and said for sure it was the on/off switch or something else internal and did that have any other suggestions. She wrote back in a day or so saying it was the unit itself and they would replace the whole unit under the warranty. May 28, 2019 I got the new unit from Medcursor via Amazon.I just wanted to write this up as I still love the piece of equipment itself and I especially love companies who are as honest and considerate of their customers as Medcursor. So, if you are planning on getting a massager such as this I would strongly recommend this unit as you can feel rest assured you will be backed by the company if anything goes wrong with you unit at least through the warranty period. Good luck and happy massaging!My original review:For the price this unit really helps get to to those areas that are really painful. I have replacement shoulders from sports and doing upper body exercises really irritates them and I seem to get a lot of trigger point pain in the cervical and thoracic area. With this unit I am able to really get to those trigger points and next to a professional masseur this is about the best I can do for myself. I have had several of these type units over the years and this is a very good one at this price point. Would buy again. Past experience tells me they usually last about a year to 18 mos. so I bought the extension warranty. For the few bucks it was worth it to me.

Immediate relief for chronic muscle pain and tightness!
I love this Massager! My neck and low back are tight every morning after waking. I use it daily to get immediate relief before starting my day! I definitely recommend it to anyone suffering with muscle pain and stiffness. It’s a must have!!!

Been needing this sooner than later!
Been needing a back massager since I work on the computer all day. I get a lot of pinched nerves and tightness around my shoulders and elbows. I couldnât find myself to buy one and spend that much on it. Luckily I came across this at a good price. Received it the next day and so happy with this massager. Works great and not too aggressive. Planning to use every day!!!

This for me is the best massager that I have ever purchased. As soon as I feel the pain and a migraine coming on, I put this on around my neck area and voila pain relief within 10-15 minutes. It works so good that I donât need to take any medication to ease the pain. Very easy to use.
