Soothing and Light
This is a scalp soothing, lightweight oil. You donât have to use too much in the hair because it spreads well. I use it after washing and before blow drying my hair to lock in some moisture. I can feel my scalp slightly tingling from the mint. It is not an irritating feeling. Itâs lightly scented of rosemary and mint so you donât have to worry about a constant smell. The bottle is strong and a bit small, but the oil does not need to be used in large amounts. You wouldnât need to purchase very often unless youâre using a LOT. Iâve had mine for a while. I donât usually pay attention to hair growth because mine grows anyway, but while having it, I did get a comment that my hair had grown back quickly after cutting off a large quantity.

AACK, greasy scalp!
Updating my review from 2* to 4* exclusively based on customer service from the company.While I’m still not a fan of the product for me, the company reached out and offered a full refund with NO expectation of a review change (my choice), only to ensure I was satisfied. I refused the refund, afterall I made a choice to try a new product, that’s on me, not them! And I plan to use it anyway, so why should it cost them money because I made a choice I don’t like? I am a fan of a company that stands behind their product and customer satisfaction. That’s a 5* company all the way.I have always had lush, long hair, but lately it has has started thinning, falling and breaking due to menopause (so NOT fun). I found this product and the complimentary shampoo & conditioner and wanted to give it a try to see if it will help stop and hopefully reverse the issues with my hormonal hair. I deliberately chose the “light” formulation of this scalp treatment because I do not wash my hair daily and did not want a product that will cause build up or a greasy look.This product made it look like I hadn’t washed my hair in a month! I used it exactly as directed and no more than advised, and yet my scalp looked oily and nasty the entire day. I had to pull my hair up to hide the greasy look, which I also don’t love to do, it causes more breakage, falling and hair-loss.I do love the scent, and the little tingle of the mint was wonderful, but the appearance of a slimy scalp is more than I’m willing to tolerate.I’ll keep it and use it overnight the night before I wash my hair, and hopefully that will be enough to see results without looking like I’m allergic to washing.I’m disappointed, I really hoped to find something that would help but not be too heavy and oily.

Perfect hair oil
I love this hair oil. Nice and light, not to heavy. I use it twice a week to treat hair and sleep in it overnight. Easy to wash out. My hair is silky soft from using this.

I really liked the original rosemary Mielle oil so wanted to try this too
I love the smell of these and Iâm not sure that they help with hair growth but in my head they doððThe original rosemary mielle hair oil smells really good and this one smells just like it. I do notice that this light version doesnât give my head as much of a tingle as the original oil does that I like. The tingle just feels like my hair is growing although I know thatâs not trueðð This is suppose to be a light version so I purchased so that I could add it during the day to my hair thinking it wouldnât make it look as oily as the original does. It still is very oily and I canât really get away with hiding the oil. I do add it on the bottom layer of hair and noticed I can hide that with my top layer. I have very thin fine hair so I need something lighter. But this product is great for hair treatments. I purchased another hair oil olaplex bonding repair and that is much lighter and Iâm able to apply it to the whole head with no visable oil on my hair.

Smells nice and I think itâs working!
My hair grew a lot recently since starting this product. Not sure if it was a coincidental growth spurt or if itâs really helping! I use 2-3 droppers full on my scalp, clip up my hair, and let it sit for a few hours before my shower 1-2 times a week. Smells great and my hair feels soft after.

If you like to apply by dropping it onto your fingers first this might be a problem as it will either drip off or absorb quickly into your skin. Even if you use the dropper directly on scalp somehow it absorbs too quick and some of it drips down quickly , so it feels like you need more oil to sufficiently rub it in on every part of your scalp. (This might be just a sensation, in reality maybe the oil does reach your entire scalp idk)
