My stylist daughter turned me on many years ago to Paul Mitchell’s Tea Tree shampoo and I’ve been using it ever since. It is not inexpensive, so it is one of my few indulgences for bathroom products. When the manufacturer stopped making my preferred styling hair gel, I started looking for a new product. I couldn’t get used to the paste my stylist recommended. When I found this product, I decided to give it a try. Like the shampoo, it is a bit pricier than I wanted to pay, but here we go.The good news for me is a little goes a long way in my thin hair. I squirt just enough to cover the end of my finger, rub it up in my hands, and stroke it through my still-damp hair. It provides just enough body and control to do what I need.My 4-star review mostly comes from my annoyance about the price which is about double what I was used to paying for another product. Staying in the Tea Tree family of products helped me get used to that. I will likely buy this product again when the time comes.

Love this. Smells great, doesn’t make your hair look too sticky or hard, has hold that lasts all day, gives the perfect sleep pony tail look. Been using it a lot lately

Did not like this gel
I have used Dove gel for a long time but I could not find the kne I used to use. I thought this would be a good alternative because I have used this brand in the past for shampoo and conditioner. This gel however just felt really slimy and gross. It was even slimy washing off my hands. I will not purchase it again and I’m glad I got a small tube just to try.

It was a fair price for a great product that worked well for my needs.Unfortunately, the 6.8 oz bottle is no longer available, and whatâs taken its place is a 5.1 fluid ounce bottle priced higher than the larger size ever was. Classic shrinkflation.While I understand that companies are facing rising costs, this feels like a blatant cash grab. Reducing the product size and increasing the price has left a bad taste in my mouth. This was the last straw for meâIâll now be looking for a new brand that respects its customers.Tea Tree, youâve lost a loyal customer.

Das Gel riecht dezent nach Minze. Es beschwert das Haar nicht und hinterlässt keinen öligen Film. Es lässt sich auch gut wieder auswaschen. (Vorausgesetzt, man verwendet nicht die halbe Tube auf einmal!)Die Konsistenz würde ich mit “Naturjoghurt” vergleichen. Es ist cremig aber nicht zu fest. Das Gel ist durchsichtig (sehr leicht grünstichig).Trägt man das Gel morgens auf, hält es den ganzen Tag (ohne Regen, Sturm, etc.).Fazit: Ich würde es empfehlen.
