A Winter Solution for Itchy Scalps
This winter, my scalp has been itching quite a bit. Iâm not sure if itâs due to dryness or if Iâm just not used to some of the hair products Iâve been trying. Either way, I thought a good scalp scrub might help.I chose this product mainly because of the onion ingredient. Iâve heard that onion has germ-killing properties, so I thought it could be an interesting choice for a scalp treatment. When I first opened the jar, I wondered if it would smell like onion. To my surprise, it didnât at all. The scent is actually very refreshing, with mint, tea tree, and rosemary notes. At first, the fragrance was quite strong, but after a couple of uses, it became much lighter and more subtle. The instructions werenât very clear about whether the scrub should be used on dry or wet hair, but since this is a scrub shampoo, I decided to apply it to wet hair. I wet my hair and scooped a small amount of the scrub at a time with my fingertips. Honestly, not all of the scrub reached my scalp, but I was still able to get some scrubbing action. After a couple of minutes, I added water to help it lather, as the instructions suggested. It foamed nicely, and I rinsed it out before conditioning my hair. As I rinsed, I could feel the water sliding down my hair, and it felt incredibly smooth. After washing, I followed my regular routine. I was pleasantly surprised to see my hair looked better than usual after my normal wash and conditioning. I also decided to test how my scalp felt after not washing my hair for three days. To my delight, my scalp felt greatâno itching and no greasy buildup. Also, it comes with a scalp massager, which I actually like better than the one I have. Mine has tighter bristles and feels difficult to move around my scalp.Overall, I think this product is fantastic for the price and definitely worth a try. It worked well for me and made my scalp feel comfortable, without the usual dryness or irritation.

Refresh my scalp
This scalp scrub is like a sugar scrub it has fine grains and smell ok. I can smell the rosemary but not so much the onions which is fine with me.My scalp feels really good after using it. I have to make sure I rinse it off well . Also I use it after I shampoo and before I apply conditioner. The directions doesnât say anything about shampoo.I have see any hair growth yet but it might be too early for that . I will update if I see hair grow when I finish the jar.

Smells nice. Works well
I’ve never used a scalp scrub before so I didn’t know what to expect but I do like the results. I have dry scalp sometimes and I get scalp buildup from dandruff my scalp gets a waxy feeling and I don’t feel clean but with this it did help clean my scalp. I like how it has a rosemary oil and tea tree oil they sent are not overpowering. In fact I don’t smell any onion at all. I’ve read about the benefits of onion and biotin, so I really like that this product contains those good ingredients.

The best scalp scrub I have tried so far because it doesn’t leave you oily!
This is the third commercial bottle of scalp scrub that I have tried. I know that onion is good for growth and biotin is also good for your hair, so I wanted to give this a shot. The first thing I noticed is that the texture of the scrub was different. It seemed more goopy. I didn’t have much hope for it until I realized why. After you scrub this into your scalp (you have to get to your scalp which is easy for short haired people, but harder for long or thick haired people), when you add water to it, it foams up like shampoo. So you are able to scrub your scalp to exfoliate and then work the foaming remains into your hair length to shampoo it. I really liked this, and then afterwards I added a very light conditioner to the length.Often these scrubs are oil based and leave my hair oily to the point that I may need to shampoo it afterwards. This one is like a built in shampoo, which I think is why it was goopy. The smell is alright. It isn’t really good or bad or noticeable. I am after a scrub, not a perfume so that is fine to me.I would recommend this. It also works to scrub elbows and knees or other places that need scrubbing.

Feels good
This felt really good on my scalp and I loved the refreshing tingle. It was quite drying, so expect to do a deep conditioning treatment afterwards!

Don’t let the ingredients scare you away from trying
When I saw this product and that it was made with onion I was instantly hesitant to order it. Reading the description intrigued me enough to give it a try, and I am really glad I did. Although “onion” is in the name, the product itself has NO onion smell. It’s actually very pleasant with notes of eucalyptus. The texture of the scrub is very similar to a body scrub. I scooped about a quarters diameter amount onto my fingers and massaged it onto my head, after a minute or so of doing that, I used the provided exfoliator in a circular motion around my head. I then added a little bit of water (didn’t keep my head in the shower water) and proceeded to massage my head/hair with my fingers, which caused the product to lather up like a regular shampoo. Once rinsed out, I conditioned as usual. My hair felt cleaner and looked better over all after one use. This product is not intended to be a daily use. I have added this into my rotation and will be used once per week to maintain a healthy scalp.

Makes my hair feel a lot better
The good thing about this is it seems to work. After using it a couple of times my hair feels a lot better. The scalp massager is great and overall I like the quality of this product.I don’t like that the directions and other information only appears on the box. The bottle itself has nothing on it. The directions also said to use it in a circular motion to create foam, I couldn’t get it to foam.Overall though, it works well, I like the scent, and I highly recommend it.
