Terrific markers for bullet journaling and more!
I already owned a 15-ct set of these, but wanted more! This 30-ct. pack has almost all of the Mildliner colors offered by Zebra. HERE ARE THE COLORS IN THIS KIT: Red, Vermillion, Marigold, Coral Pink, Fuschia, Pink, Apricot, Orange, Gold, Lemon Yellow, Yellow, Citrus Green, Green, Olive, Blue Green, Summer Green, Cyan, Lavender, Smoke Blue, Dark Blue, Blue, Violet, Magenta, Cool Gray, Gray, Dark Gray, Cream, Copper, Brown, and Beige. I did a little digging around and discovered these are the colors currently on the Zebra website which are NOT IN THIS PACK: Baby Pink, Honey Orange, Sherbet Yellow, Soda Blue, and Lilac. These last 5 colors are sold separately in a set called “Gentle Assorted.”It’s a little annoying that Zebra doesn’t sell them all in one pack, because I want all the colors! Fortunately, I was able to order the “Gentle Assorted” pack as well, so the last 5 are on the way! When I was just learning about bullet journaling, I made the mistake of buying art markers which were too dark and bled through the page. Then I tried these Zebra Mildliner highlighters and saw why they are so popular! The colors are definitely mild, so you can write over them with your black pen and still read your writing. They don’t bleed through standard bullet journal pages (I think mine are gsm 120). They are great for writing, too. I typically use the sharp bullet-point end for writing and the Chisel point for filling in shapes. I sometimes use the chisel point for calligraphy; however, since it is a broad tip, the lettering must be large.CONS: The only cons I can think of are these super minor issues:1) They aren’t permanent or water resistant, so if the page gets wet, the ink will run (just like with most markers, so don’t let your pages get wet!);2) As previously mentioned, this set is 5 markers short of Zebra’s full line of colors. However, you can easily buy the other colors in a single, small pack, so that’s not a huge problem.3) the “Bonus Box Organizer” is the slightly oddly-shaped cardboard insert which is part of the box itself. The markers came lined up in a thin, folded paperboard piece that was difficult to get them out of. When I tried, three different marker caps came off in my hand, as if they had not been securely on the pens. Fortunately, the markers were not dried out. I assumed that paperboard piece was for shipping only and threw it away. As you can see in the photo, this left me with the bottom/inner section of the marker box which is frankly a bit awkward. The markers don’t seem particularly “organized” in it, but merely loosely contained. The nicest things about it are that it has room for more markers in it and you can slip the outside of the box over it & use the tabs to hold it secure for storage. If you don’t secure those tabs, the “bonus box organizer” will slip right out and spill your markers everywhere–guess how I know! So, other than these minor issues with the packaging and having to order 5 additional colors separately for a complete collection, I really love this marker set and have zero regrets.

Perfect for Study and Art
The Zebra Pen Mildliner Highlighters are a must-have for anyone who loves to organize notes or get creative! I absolutely adore the pastel colors; theyâre vibrant yet soft enough to create a pleasing look on the page. The double-ended design is incredibly useful, offering both broad and fine tips, which makes it easy to highlight and write with precision. These highlighters donât bleed through paper, which is a huge plus for me, especially when using them in my planner or notebooks. They are perfect for color-coding notes or adding flair to my journaling and art projects. The subtle shades create a calm and inviting aesthetic that I find inspiring.

Very Good Highlighter Kit for Thin Bible Pages
Most of these highlighters worked very well for my very thin page bibles. Granted, not all of the highlighters in this kit are equal for thin pages. The 5 Mildliner Neutrals that were included are perfect for thin page stock except for copper which had some bleed through. I tested them on a biblical measurements page and would group them into 3 categories of bleed through. The least bleed through was barely noticeable, if at all. The second best you could very minorly see it. The third was you could definitely see it but it’s not as dark as regular highlighters. My test was done on a Holman NKJV with very thin pages..My tests are subjective to my impression and just give you an idea. One picture shows the highlighting test on the Weights and Lengths page and the other shows the amount of highlighting bleed through on the Dry and Liquid Measure page..The best ones with the very least bleed were lemon yellow, yellow, citrus green, cool gray, olive, beige, cream, orange, and pink. The next best ones where you could partially see some bleed were: green, gray, blue green, smoke blue, blue, violet, vermillion, marigold, red, and apricot..The ones that I could notice pretty good but still much less than a regular highlighter: dark blue, lavender, cyan, summer green, dark grey, brown, copper, magenta, fuchsia, and gold. This depends on your level of what’s acceptable..One tip I can give is that if I want something in the very lightest of highlighters to have some additional emphasis, I just use the thin tip side of a darker or brighter opposite color highlighter to underline the thick highlighted line very quickly and as lightly as I can and that works great. Very distinct when I’m flipping back through that I meant for that to stand out without it bleeding through.Overall I would give these a very good highlighting bleed through rating on thin bible pages since it’s very hard to find highlighters for thin bible pages. My preference is to only use two of the three levels of highlighters because the heavier bleed through makes it where I can’t always tell if I had intended to highlight this page or the opposite page material. This kit gives me at least 20 highlighters out of the 30 that meets my personal preference. The other 10 will work fine for other highlighting since I read a lot of text books and research material.
