Perfect little set to send off to college!
I purchased this set for my daughter as she didn’t have all of these tools in going away to school. Loved the quality and mini “travel” set allows for all the needed tools. They are good sized and not exactly “mini” clippers. Great price too!

I lost my last travel nail maintenance kit recently, prompting me to search for another. I have particularly thick nails, both fingers and toesâitâs not fungal, all the men in my family have this trait. As a result, Iâm very particular about clipping kitsâthey need to be sharp and precise, cutting the nail without cracking or tearing. This is especially true for my toenailsâwith previous kits that I liked, I would still have to trim only after a shower or bath when the nail was softer or Iâd get cracks, sometimes painful ones extending into the nail bed. Not so with this kit. I just trimmed my dry toenails to test the sellerâs claims, and this kit delivered. Cuts were precise, did not extend beyond the blade (eg no cracking), the tools were easy to control and handled even my thick toenails easily. I typically have to cut with just 1/2 the blade actually cutting; most clippers will not cut if I put the whole length of the blade over a toenail. This set did even that well, though I did have to squeeze pretty hard. But this beats all other clippers Iâve ever used. Color me impressed. I donât write many reviews, so if Iâm taking the time to sing praises for something as mundane as a nail clipping kit, you can believe they are worth the money. If I had to pick one dislike, maybe itâs the emory board; this has a cross-hatch pattern for filing, whereas my previous kit had a metallic âsandpaperâ style board, which I think I prefer, but this only the slightest of niggling complaints. Seriously, a great kit out of the box; weâll see if the sharpness lasts.

Good price for the quality
This is very compact and easy to take with you. The tools are very sharp (especially the scissors!) and durable. The quality of the case is lacking. Its slightly too tight for it to close well with the items inside, so the case bulges slightly on the sides and puts pressure on the latch to close the case. The latch broke almost immediately. Still worth it for the manicure tools in my opinion!
